Installation and care
- Installation must be completed by a qualified electrical professional in accordance with local codes.
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker and verify that the circuit is de-energized before work begins.
- Confirm that the mounting surface and junction box can support the complete fixture weight.
- Fit the mounting hardware, connect the labeled conductors as verified by the installer, and secure the canopy or body.
- Install compatible bulbs or LED components, restore power, and test all controls.

Dimensions and finishes may vary slightly because of measurement methods, screen settings, and natural material variation.
After dispatch, delivery typically takes about 8 business days. The total expected time from order date is therefore generally about 11 to 12 business days: 3 to 4 business days for processing, followed by approximately 8 business days in transit.
It depends on the fixture, and every product page tells you which it is.
No electrician needed. Table lamps, floor lamps, and any fixture listed
as plug-in, rechargeable or solar. These arrive ready to assemble. Fit the
shade and bulb, plug it into a standard outlet, and switch it on. Rechargeable
pieces charge over USB and need no outlet at all in use.
Licensed electrician required. Chandeliers, ceiling lights, ceiling fans,
and most pendants and wall sconces are hardwired, meaning they connect
directly to your home's wiring at a junction box. These must be installed by a
licensed electrician in accordance with your local electrical code.
How to tell before you buy: check the Verified feature line and the
Wiring row in the Specifications table on the product page. Plug-in fixtures
also list a cord length and an inline or pull-cord switch.
Our fixtures run on AC 110-240V, which covers standard North American
household current. Fixtures that take a replaceable bulb use E26/E27 screw
bases, the standard North American fitting. Many pieces use integrated LEDs
instead, where the light source is built in and not replaceable.
Check the Specifications table on each product page before ordering. It lists
voltage, light source, maximum wattage, mounting type and whether the fixture
is dimmable. Dimmable fixtures require a compatible LED dimmer, sold
separately.
Many of our fixtures use integrated LEDs, where the light source is built
into the fixture and never needs replacing. These are ready to use out of the
box.
Fixtures that take a replaceable bulb list the base type, usually E26 or E27,
and the maximum wattage under Specifications.
Inspect all cartons on delivery and photograph any visible damage before
signing. Keep all packaging until you have fully inspected the fixture.
If anything arrives damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect, contact us
within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the outer
carton, shipping label, packaging, the full item and the affected area. We
will cover the cost of putting it right, including any return shipping.
Please do not install, wire or modify a damaged item, or discard its
packaging, until we have replied.
Every product page lists full dimensions in inches. As general guidance:
- Dining table pendants and chandeliers: roughly one half to two thirds
the width of the table, hung 30 to 36 inches above the surface. - Entryways and open rooms: add the room's length and width in feet, and
use that number in inches as a starting diameter. A 12 x 14 ft room suggests
a fixture around 26 inches wide. - Ceiling clearance: leave at least 7 feet from floor to the bottom of the
fixture in a walkway.
Before ordering an oversized piece, check doorway, stairwell and elevator
clearance for delivery.
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. The fixture must be
unused, uninstalled and unmodified, in its original packaging with all parts
and accessories.
For change-of-mind returns, you cover return shipping and the original
shipping cost is not refunded. If the item is damaged, defective or
incorrect, we cover it.
We do not offer direct exchanges. Return the original item and place a new
order for the configuration you want.
Custom and made-to-order configurations cannot be returned.
