Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my order take to arrive? Plus

Most orders are processed within 3–4 business days. After dispatch, delivery typically takes about 8 business days, so most orders arrive approximately 11–12 business days after they are placed. Delivery times are estimates and can vary by destination, carrier, and product.

Is shipping free? Plus

Yes. Standard shipping is free on U.S. orders. Available shipping options are confirmed at checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your cart.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or defective? Plus

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and clear photos or video of the issue. Once the issue is verified, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 24 hours. You will not be required to return the product, and there are no return shipping costs or processing fees.

Can I return a fixture if it doesn’t work in my space? Plus

Yes. You can request a return within 30 days of delivery as long as the item remains unused, uninstalled, unassembled, unmodified, and in its original packaging with all included parts and accessories. For preference-based returns, including size or finish choices, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Do you ship throughout the United States? Plus

Yes. Maison Velume ships throughout the United States.

Will I need an electrician to install my fixture? Plus

It depends on the product. Hardwired lighting and ceiling fans should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes. Plug-in, rechargeable, solar, and other products specifically designed for customer setup do not require hardwiring. Check the product’s Specifications for its installation type.

How can I tell which size or configuration is right for my space? Plus

Check the Specifications on each product page for the available sizes and exact measurements, along with the Dimensions diagram when one is available. For chandeliers and pendants above a dining table, a fixture roughly one-half to two-thirds the width of the table is a useful starting point, typically positioned about 30–36 inches above the tabletop. Also confirm ceiling height and clearance before ordering larger fixtures.
